Glendale Campaign Contribution Limits Forum April 30, 2008

The League of Women Voters of Glendale/Burbank is pleased to announce a forum Campaign Contribution limits in Glendale on Wednesday, April 30, from 7-9pm.

The City of Glendale will soon consider whether to enact campaign contribution limits on its elected officials. Because of the importance of this topic, the League of Women Voters of Glendale/Burbank decided to host a public forum to examine the issue.

We want to look at the issue campaign contributions in neighboring cities--cities that have contribution limits, such as Los Angeles and Burbank, and cities that do not, such as Glendale and Pasadena.

The forum will consist of the panelists speaking on campaign contribution limits, then participating in a panel discussion on their advantages and disadvantages. The public is invited, and will participate by written questions. Questions can be submitted live at the forum, or in advance here.
