On September 30th, we are sponsoring candidate forums for the 25th State Senate District election and the 5th Supervisorial District election. On October 7th, we intended to hold a candidate forum for the 28th Congressional District election. However, this has been canceled because while Rep. Adam Schiff agreed to participate, his opponent, Lenore Solis declined to do so.
And finally on October 13th we are sponsoring a candidate forum for the 43rd Assembly District election. For those attending these forums in persion, be aware that no political campaign material may be brought into the City Council Chamber, and no clothing or jewelry of a political nature may be worn.
These three forums with be broadcast live and then rebroadcast on the Burbank Channel and Glendale TV6 through the election on November 8th. They will also be available on the cities' YouTube channels. The public may submit questions to be asked of the candidates by telephone at (818) 925-4598 or online at:
